Terms
The agreement between you and Praze. Short, because a long one only means the important parts are buried.
Last updated 1 October 2026
Who this is between
These terms are between you — the business using Praze — and Billy Pitman, trading as Praze of 42 Grove Road, Portland, Dorset DT5 1DA, which these terms call “we” or “Praze”. They apply from the moment you create an account.
Praze is sold to businesses, not to consumers. If you are buying as a sole trader for your own trade, the consumer rights that would otherwise apply to a personal purchase do not apply here.
What we do
You tell us when you have finished a job for a customer. We send that customer one message asking for a Google review, and one reminder if they do not respond. We never send a third. We show you what was sent, whether it arrived, and whether they opened the link.
We do not write reviews, influence what a review says, or filter who gets asked based on how happy they are. Everybody you mark as done gets the same message, and it goes to your public Google review page. Asking only your happy customers is against Google’s rules and we will not build it.
What it costs, and stopping
The price of each plan is shown on our pricing page and is charged monthly or yearly in advance from the day you sign up. Each plan includes a number of review requests per calendar month. The allowance does not carry over, and we will tell you when you have used it.
There is no minimum term and no notice period. Cancel from your billing page and the subscription stops at the end of the period you have paid for. You keep the service until then.
We do not refund part-months by default. If something has gone wrong and you are out of pocket because of it, write to us — we would rather sort it out than have you tell people we would not.
We may change the price with at least 30 days notice by email. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
What you are responsible for
This is the part that matters most, because it is about other people’s phones.
- You must have a proper basis for messaging each customer. In practice that means you obtained their details in the course of doing work for them, you are asking about that work, and you gave them a way to opt out. That is your judgement to make, not ours.
- Only upload details of people you have actually done work for. Not a bought list, not enquiries who never became customers, not a friend’s customer list.
- Keep them accurate. A wrong number means a stranger gets a message meant for somebody else.
- Honour opt-outs immediately, including any made to you directly rather than through us.
- Do not offer anything in exchange for a review. No discounts, no prize draws, no “leave us five stars and we’ll knock a tenner off”. It breaks Google’s rules and it can get your listing removed.
If you break these, we may suspend sending on your account. Where we can, we will tell you why first; where somebody is being harmed we may stop it first and explain afterwards.
Your customers' details
Those details remain yours. We hold and send on your instructions and for no other purpose. We never contact your customers about anything except the job you told us about, never sell their details, and never use them to sell anything to anyone.
How that works in law, and what each of us must do about it, is set out in our data processing terms, which form part of this agreement.
Close your account and ask, and we will delete your customers’ details. We keep the record of what you were sold, because tax rules require it.
What we promise, and what we don't
We will run the service with reasonable care and skill, and we will tell you honestly when something has gone wrong.
We cannot promise the service is never unavailable, that every message arrives, or that any of it produces reviews. Messages travel through mobile networks and email providers we do not control, and whether a customer leaves a review is entirely up to them. Nobody can promise you reviews, and you should not believe anybody who does.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or lost goodwill — including reviews you believe you would have received.
Ending it
You can cancel at any time from your billing page. We may end this agreement by giving you 30 days notice, or immediately if you break these terms in a way that puts your customers or our sending reputation at risk.
If we end it for our own reasons rather than because of something you did, we will refund the unused part of anything you have paid in advance.
Everything else
- We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
- You may not transfer this agreement to somebody else without asking us. We may transfer it if the business is sold, and will tell you if that happens.
- If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
